How to Prepare HiPP Stage 1
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Sterilize bottles, nipples, and feeding equipment.
- Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to 40–50°C (104–122°F).
- Pour the recommended amount of water into the bottle.
- Add the exact number of level scoops according to the feeding guide on the package.
- Shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
- Cool to approximately 37°C (98.6°F) before feeding and test the temperature first.
Storage
- Store unopened boxes in a cool, dry place.
- Use before the expiration date.
- Once opened, use within 3 weeks.
- Prepare bottles fresh whenever possible.
- Unused prepared formula may be kept for up to 2 hours at room temperature if feeding has not started.
- Once feeding begins, discard any remaining formula within 1 hour.
When Should My Baby Move to the Next Stage?
HiPP German Stage 1 is suitable from birth until around 6 months.
Around six months, when solid foods are introduced, many families transition to HiPP Stage 2 as part of a mixed diet of bottle feeding and complementary foods.
